Sigur că e neplăcut să vezi că vecinul şi-a lansat o afacere din primul an de facultate, iar tu eşti deja la master şi tot nu ştii încă exact pe ce carieră să pariezi cu ochii închişi.
Cineva pe care îl pot considera mentor îmi cita un pasaj din Goethe pe care îl ţin minte aşa: „cel care nu şi-a udat perna cu lacrimi nu vă cunoaşte pe voi, puteri cereşti”. Sunt perioade în care parcă eşti prins într-un cerc vicios, într-un loc din care nu poţi să scapi orice ai face. Lucrurile merg prost, nici măcar nu poţi să explici de ce merg prost, şi nu îţi găseşti locul pe pernă.
În mijlocul unui bloc cu sute de oameni poţi fi mai singur decât într-o pădure pustie, iar povestea ta poate muri cu tine: mai rău, ştii sigur că nu va exista nici un avocat sau povestitor care să o spună, aşa cum s-a derulat, noapte de noapte, timp de o mie de nopţi.
Dar aşa sunt poveştile adevărate: abia după o mie de poveşti care nu merită spuse sau nu pot fi înţelese apare povestea bună a celor o mie de poveşti nespuse.
