Rucsacul din spate şi rucsacul din inimă. Sau de ce nu mai fug cu copiii la şcoală
Mi-a atras atenţia o discuţie din filmul Pearl Harbour:

Ei bine, colonelul (Alec Baldwin) spune adevărul. A trecut de 40 de ani, și-a trăit viaţa, el poate eventual să se sacrifice. Tinerii, nu.
Războiul e decis de niște unii de peste 50 de ani, care și-au trăit viaţa, iar acum se complac în diverse raţionamente de strategie și glorie umană. Una peste alta, dacă ei iau deciziile de a intra în război și de a muri, ar trebui să se suie tot ei în avioane și tancuri. Iar după ce se termină generaţia de vârsta a doua și apoi a treia, abia apoi să îi trimită la moarte și pe tineri.
Ei bine, realitatea e tocmai pe invers, tinerii sunt trimiși în prima linie, cel puţin asta a fost de mii de ani soluţia, iar bătrânii stau și fumează serioși în jurul unei hărţi.
Iată de ce războiul e o ipocrizie a adulţilor faţă de propii lor copii și faţă de orice onoare, respect și alte sentimente care ar trebui să apară în mod normal după o vârstă destinată înţelepciunii.
